Clients of DROBNY LAW OFFICES, INC. are entitled to have routine amendments to their Estate Planning documents at no charge by phone, mail or email. To initiate the process by email, please complete the form below and then click "send" at the bottom of the screen. A legal assistant or attorney from DROBNY LAW OFFICES, INC. will then call you to confirm your identity, verify your request and mail or email your documents to you for execution, notarization or witnessing. We then request that you make a copy for your records and return the executed originals to us for processing.

Funding of your Trust

In order to avoid the time and expense of probate, a Living Trust must be properly funded: all assets must be properly placed under the umbrella of your Living Trust. At the time you signed your Living Trust we assisted you in placing all of your assets under the umbrella of your Living Trust. As time passes, clients acquire new property, open new accounts, rollover 401(k)’s into IRA accounts, purchase life insurance and each time they do so, they need to make sure these new assets are properly placed under the Umbrella of their trust.

Clients of DROBNY LAW OFFICES, INC. are entitle to have DROBNY LAW OFFICES, INC. assist them in the ongoing funding of their trusts for no additional fee beyond the flat fee they paid for their Estate Plan.

Real Estate: If you have acquired or refinanced real estate and not taken title in the name of your trust, please send us a copy of the Grant Deed, the legal description and the Accessor's Parcel Number (APN). If you are unable to locate the Grant Deed, please provide us with the physical address of the real property and our office can obtain the Deed for a fee of $15.00.

Securities: If you have acquired stocks, bonds, mutual funds or moved from one financial advisor to another and not taken title in the name of your trust, please send us a copy of the first page of any recent statement showing us exactly how your name appears on the account and the account number.

Life Insurance, Retirement Accounts and Annuities: If you have opened up an IRA account, 401(k), 457, 403(6), annuity or purchased life insurance since signing your trust please send us a copy of the first page of any recent statement showing us exactly how your name appears on the account and the account number.

Upon receipt of the documents a legal assistant from DROBNY LAW OFFICES, INC. will call you to confirm your identity, verify your request, prepare the transfer work and mail or email it back to you for execution, notarization (if necessary). We then request that you make a copy for your records and return the executed originals to us for processing.
